That's the problem today, with the industrialized cg companies pouring out movies, games, and commercials by the bucket-full people have been numbed to the art that surrounds them everyday. No matter what medium whether it be doodles on paper, finger painting, or riffing on a guitar art is an expression of the soul. Somehow, art has now been classified as "that old stuff in museums drawn by dead people."
As we move onto the "digital age" everything has changed. The stock-exchanged has become digitalized, you can buy everything ranging from groceries to fishing rods online, and you can talk with your friends through instant messaging. Is it not only natural that art changes too?
Now in the digital age we are able to take art to a new level and a broader community. With the wide availability of computers and art programs becoming an artist no longer requires substantial financial backing for brushes, paints, and canvases. With a trusty digi-camera and Photoshop anybody can express themselves. The creation of digi-art communities such as shadowness and deviant art now allow for an unprecedented amount of interaction between artists. People can now specialize in certain areas of the painting process. Photographers take awe-inspiring pictures which they then share with others as stock-art allowing photo manipulators to then take a hand in the process and combining two different visions into a single piece. The outcome of this is art that is able to touch the souls of more people as it is inclusive of different ideas, a communal project which will leave it's own mark on history.
Art is not a some "thing" it is what we create.

your avatar is really cool!
What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire deviant life, that there's something wrong with the story. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad.
You take the blue pill, the story ends. Your browser closes and you believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in wonderland. And, I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.
I offer only the truth, nothing more.
Take: The Red Pill
